While we were working hard at the MakinGo 6×60 marathon (we will be posting photos from the set soon!) we recieved great news: August 15th, our very first short film, will be aired on Italian television! Tune into channel 863 on Sky or on Yks Virgilio! If you happen to see the broadcast on either of the channels, drop us a comment on this blog or email us at  frenzyhourpr@gmail.com

Mentre il gruppo lavorava alacremente alla maratona MakinGo 6×60 (della quale pubblicheremo a breve un piccolo reportage con foto del set) è giunta una lieta notizia che ora possiamo condividere con tutti voi che ci seguite: August 15th, il primo cortometraggio realizzato dalla Frenzy Hour Productions, andrà in onda a giorni sul canale 863 di Sky e in streaming su Yks Virgilio! Minutes till the starting gun – A minuti dalla partenza

The MakinGo 6×60 filmmaking marathon is about the begin, with just hours till the starting gun and the team just can’t wait to start working! In the meantime we’ve also started on some other projects:

The Frenzy Hour Productions group has participated in the opening of the www.openfilm.com website, a webspace dedicated to emerging filmmakers that as of Today, is viewable for the public! There, you can find our work-finally presented in high definition.

Frenzy Hour Productions has also joined the “alternative television” project launched by yks. As always, we submitted our work to the audience and, if we get enough votes, there is the possibility of seeing them on tv.

Our upcoming events will, as always, be posted on this blog, with the updates on the marathon, in Gorizia, Italy.

Don’t forget to show your support and vote for us on yks and if you happen to attend, have some fun at the Makingo 6×60 closing party!

La maratona MakinGo 6×60 inizierà tra qualche ora, ed il team freme per mettersi al lavoro. Nel frattempo però abbiamo anche portato avanti qualche altro progetto.

Il gruppo Frenzy Hour Productions ha infatti partecipato all’inaugurazione del sito www.openfilm.com, spazio esclusivamente dedicato a filmmakers emergenti, dove potrete trovare i nostri lavori, finalmente apprezzabili in alta definizione.

La Frenzy Hour Productions ha inoltre aderito al progetto di televisione alternativa portato avanti da yks. Anche in questo caso abbiamo messo a disposizione del pubblico i nostri lavori e, se verremmo sufficentemente votati, potrete vederci, addirittura, in TV.

I prossimi appuntamenti sono dunque su questo blog, per gli aggiornamenti sull’andamento della maratona, e a Gorizia, dove vi aspettiamo numerosi per supportarci e partecipare alla festa di fine maratona.

Next Stop: MakinGo ‘08

After a first and very positive experience at last year’s edition of MakinGo 6×60, the Frenzy Hour team is participating once again at the filmmaking production marathon held by the student association,  MakinGo in Gorizia, Italy. For those who don’t know what this is, it’s a competition where twenty filmmaking groups are competing to produce a 6 minute short  film in just 60 hours. The limitations, aside from the time limit and the length of the short-film, are three elements to insert in the short-film, which include a phrase, an object and one action. The competition will start on the night of July 2nd in Piazza Vittoria, Gorizia, Italy, so keep checking this blog for more info while the fatal hour approaches!

Dopo una prima, positiva, esperienza all’edizione dello scorso anno (dove abbiamo vinto , il team Frenzy Hour torna a partecipare alla maratona di produzione cinematografica MakinGo 6×60 organizzata dall’associazione studentesca MakinGo di Gorizia. Per chi non lo sapesse, si tratta di una competizione dove venti gruppi di filmakers si sfidano per produrre in sole 60 ore un cortometraggio di 6 minuti. Le limitazioni, oltre al tempo di realizzazione e alla durata del contrometraggio, consistono in tre “vincoli” da inserire nel corto, ovvero una frase, un oggetto e un’azione. La gara inizierà il 2 luglio sera in Piazza Vittoria a Gorizia quindi restate sintonizzati su qusto blog per avere nuove informazioni con l’avvicinarsi dell’ora fatale!

When in late 2005 the Urban brothers decided to pick up a camera and start shooting their own films, the Frenzy Hour production group was founded.

Under its brand, the two brothers along with the help from their friends, created many different projects under the motto “Low Budget, High Creativity”; venturing off into filming the film world and creating their first award-winning short film entitled Inner Menace.

Through this blog we will keep our fans and friends constantly updated on the status of our newest projects as well as everything related to our already shown work.

Quando a fine 2005 i due fratelli Urban decisero di prendere in mano una telecamera ed iniziare a girare i loro film, naque il gruppo di produzione cinematografica Frenzy Hour.

Sotto il suo marchio, i due fratelli, avvalendosi del prezioso aiuto dei loro amici, hanno dato vita a numerosi progetti sempre fedeli al loro motto “Basso Budget, Alta Creatività”; il loro lavoro li ha fin’ora portati alla realizzazione di “Inner Menace”, vincitore del premio della giuria all’edizione 2007 di MakinGo.

Tramite questo blog, il gruppo terrà costantemente informati i loro fan ed amici sugli ultimi sviluppi dei loro più recenti progetti nonché su tutto ciò che riguarda i lavori realizzati in passato.
